I received an e-mail last week from a reader asking how he could only regret his life and be happy.
Repentance is a sign that we live in the past, so close that it is not what might have been.
Some remorse. We feel bad to send someone to forget a birthday card. Another regret is greater. We hope that we have spent more time in a past relationship gone bad.
The first question to ask yourself: Is there an action you can take today to change the situation?
In the case of forgotten birthdays, you can still send a card. After all, there are a number of Birthday wishes too late.
During the past relationship, maybe you can do is change the outcome. And therefore you have to find a way to peace with regret, to do that and let it go.
Changing our focus on the present moment, now is the easiest way to move from a place of repentance.
You can connect with the breath and just breathe easy with us at this time.
When we breathe consciously, inhale followed us and then we're not anywhere but here.
And here and now is not the past or future. There was no remorse.
I suggest to my readers, that every time he "live in the past" or a kind of feeling of regret, to immediately recognize that you have to do, and the focus shifted slightly to the right here, right now, in this once found.
